It has only been reported in 3.2.0.17 and later releases up until fixed.
So I only fixed it in 3.2.

Looking back the same code appears to be missing from 3.1. So the
problem very likely exists there too. I have applied the same fix to
squid-3.1. Although there are no planned releases and no more daily
auto-generated release of 3.1 series the patch can be found here soon:
