There is a bug fix just winding its way down to 3.3 series for this.
Should be in the daily package in 1-2 days.
Meanwhile you can pull the 3.HEAD patch from
http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.HEAD/changesets/squid-3-12717.patch
