Well it's hard to tell you...
Since you need to understand the bigger picture which is more then in
your ubuntu server.
You need to understand that DNS server is sitting in the internet and
then try to implement this reverse server.

While the above response will be appropriate I would tell you:
who is your DNS registrar??
