[squid-users] cache clearing without rebuildung the directoty structure

Hello community,

I know that the question of the emptying of the Squid cache has already been
asked very often.
Is there now a function to empty the cache without deleting the directory
structure? A customer asks for it, because he wants to use Squid as a reverse
proxy in a high availability environment. Deleting and rebuilding the cache
would take him too long.
I do not really know why the deletion is necessary for him. But the question of
whether there is in the meantime (squid V3.x) a new squid function "empty
cache", I want to ask anyway.
