Thanks Amos

but I can’t find a solution :

- I’ve installed Squid 3.2.13-1 X64 for fedora 18 (yum install squid) and in
the /usr/lib64/squid there is no ext_ldap* files. The only files present in
the directory are :

- basic_db_auth digest_file_auth
- basic_getpwnam_auth digest_ldap_auth
- basic_ldap_auth diskd
- basic_msnt_auth ext_unix_group_acl
- basic_msnt_multi_domain_auth ext_wbinfo_group_acl
- basic_ncsa_auth helper-mux.pl
- basic_nis_auth log_file_daemon
- basic_pam_auth negotiate_kerberos_auth
- basic_pop3_auth negotiate_kerberos_auth_test
- basic_radius_auth ntlm_fake_auth
- basic_sasl_auth ntlm_smb_lm_auth
- basic_smb_auth ssl_crtd
- basic_smb_auth.sh unlinkd
- cachemgr.cgi url_fake_rewrite
- digest_edirectory_auth url_fake_rewrite.sh

The same seems to be valid for the other version of squid for fedora 18 ; I
read the list of files present in the latest version of squid for fedora 18
(link here under) but i don’t see any external ACL helpers called
ext_ldap_group_acl. Now I can uninstall squid (rpm –i squid) but then I
don’t know what kind of squid version and how can I install it in order to
gain access only to the user belonging to a certain AD Group ?

http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/fedora/18/x86_64/s/squid-3.2.3-3.fc18.x86_64.html

http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/fedora/devel/rawhide/x86_64/s/squid-3.3.9-1.fc21.x86_64.html

As i read in the release notes of squid
http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.2/RELEASENOTES.html#ss4.2 the
external ACL Helpers squid_ldap_group in the versione 3.

The external helpers that replaces the older squid_ldap_group ins’t
ext_ldap_group_acl ?

I’m sad !!
