Hello,
I am currently trying to get SNMP to monitor the Squid Cache Daemon. I am having this problem when i try to fetch snmp variables from the server.
1) snmpwalk -p 161 10.1.1.1 netman .1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.1
The mib description doesn't seem to be consistent.
Some nodes couldn't be linked under the "iso" tree.
these nodes are left:

It then lists several variables.

2) SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
  error status: noSuchName
  index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0)
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "10.1.1.1" [10.1.1.1].161
                  community: "netman"
                 request ID: 850487627
                PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
                    timeout: 2s
                    retries: 5
                    backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for sysDescr sysContact sysName sysLocation ifNumber sysObjectID on netman@10.1.1.1
SNMP Error:

3) Error in packet.
Reason: There is no such variable name in this MIB.
This name doesn't exist: .iso.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.1

Has anyone had this sort of problem in the past. As i feel it is a MIB issue. as i can do a walk and get certain variables but its only a very small list. It would be great to know if anyone could help me. I am using Squid 2.2 STABLE 5
Thankyou in Advance.
