As far as I can see it still works :-). I see you combined
authenticate_options already into authenticate_program. Maybe with some
extra work authenticate.c and redirect.c can be merged into one file again
so that e.g. redirectors can have parameters too and there's only one file
to maintain.

Maybe you can add a temporary pointer to my proxy_auth page until all
documentation has been added to the FAQ (maybe as a separate chapter?). Is
the FAQ written in HTML itself or is it generated from some master file in
another format?
