Sorry -- must have been *sooo* braindead when I wrote that I forgot to
write something that makes sense!

Henrik has written a patch for quoting the username/password in
authenticate.c using rfc1738_[un]escape(). Having spent a little bit of
time sniffing down the authenticate.c in 2.5-PRE, I get the impression
that a lot has changed :-)

So, I'm still left wondering weather or not the 2.5 code will include
that kind of escaping for usernames/passwords.

Can you clarify that for me, please?
