We could really use a bunch of HOWTOS:

What configure options to use on :
linux 2.2
linux 2.4
freebsd
netbsd
openbsd
solaris 7
solaris 8
etc.

(Things like using aufs / diskd, and on which platform.)

We could also use some pre-built squid.confs - 'just fill in the blanks'
for standard
* home office
* single host accelerator
* multi host accelerator
* enterprise middle tier cache

That sort of thing. At the moment, to use squid at all efficiently, we
ask the users to learn far too much about squid's implementation, versus
simply setting the policy the users require.
