Hi,

my name is Joachim Bauch and I'd like to contribute to Squid3, especially in
the area of ESI and -depending on spare time- help with some porting to Windows.

I already startet to implement a patch against the current CVS HEAD of Squid3
that uses Libxml2 as ESI parser. You can read more informations about it on my
homepage at http://www.joachim-bauch.de/tutorials/squid3_libxml2_esi.html

A little bit background about me: I'm working at struktur AG in Stuttgart,
Germany where we're developing the Zope-based content management system
icoya OpenContent. An open source cache, that supports ESI, is very interesting
as it can provide huge speedups for portal-like content management systems
like icoya.

Cheers,
~ Joachim
