COSS problem

Hi Adrian,

I'm trying to test COSS on windows, but I'm experiencing a problem.
On Windows a stripe file must used, raw device cannot be used, so my config is:

cache_dir coss d:/cache/stripe 3072 max-size=64000

Squid fails to start with the following error:

2006/09/20 21:13:09| d:/cache/stripe/swap.state: (2) No such file or directory

This happens because d:/cache/stripe is evaluated as directory path,
while it's a file path. I think that this is not correct.

I think that it could be better to specify only the path of the
directory containing the stripe, and squid should be add
automatically the "/stripe" (as example) suffix to the path for the
stripe file if the configured path is a file system real directory.

Regards

Guido
