In Netscape 2.02 it affects images as well (don't know about earlier
version), but apparently there is a third cache in Netscape for images
(I think Netscape cached images in the X11 server) and sometimes Netscape
refuses to reload images in this cache. When this happens it does not
even help to clear both the memory and disk caches, it still shows the
old images (it doesn't even bother with sending a request for those
images). The only known workaround is to browse some other page with a
lot of inlined images, and then return to the first page.

Netscape is a odd thing...
