Hi Duane

Are there already any plans to integrate the PICS-Standard in Squid???
For further information take a look at http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/PICS/

My problem is to set up a Squid-Server for a school!

The teachers there wanted me to disable certain sites, because the
web-content there is adult material!

So first i thought:
One possibility is to disable certain sites which i know with an
corresponding ACL-pattern...
but I'm unable to search the web for those sites and keep my lists up to date.

Next idea...
Ask other Squiders in Germany for such a server, which is observered centraly...

Then I read about the PICS thing which is already implemented in 'Nanosoft'
Internet Explorer...
But what, if I don't want to use this Browser?

Hey! A good idea should be, that the cache-server reads the PIC-Headers and
disables Pages with unwanted material..
It will be great, if someone could implement this feature.
I'm quite shure that I'm not the only one who's asking about that feature.

Thank you very very much in advance
