Re: ERR_CLIENT_ABORT bug.

I've tried this site as well, and I don't see any ERR_CLIENT_ABORTs, however I
do get the following back *sometimes* if I go through our proxy.

<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Forbidden</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY><H1>Forbidden</H1>
The proxy's access control configuration denies access to
the requested object through this proxy.
</BODY></HTML>

I've never before seen this generated by our cache, which definitely does not
deny access to any machine in our domain.

I'm also never (yet!) been denied access if I use wwwcache.hensa.ac.uk as
proxy, or set no proxies.

Our cache is squid 1.0.18 and I'm using MSIE 3.0 and Netscape 3.0 on Win95.

While I was writing this I tried a few connects and consistently received
denied messages biefly, even on home.netscape.com! But now it's working fine.

The following is the last 3 lines of cache.log:
[25/Oct/1996:10:49:16 +0100] icp.c:1982: icpDetectClientClose: FD 28,
256 unexpected bytes
[25/Oct/1996:10:49:16 +0100] icp.c:1982: icpDetectClientClose: FD 28,
160 unexpected bytes
[25/Oct/1996:10:50:51 +0100] icp.c:1982: icpDetectClientClose: FD 21,
256 unexpected bytes

After restarting squid, I only get forbidden on pages on
http://www.quebectel.com

Andy.
