problems re-staring squid 1.1.2

We are having some problems in our main cache (a DEC Alpha machine)
with Squid 1.1.2, our secondary cache (a HP 9000) is running 1.1.1
and looks fine.

The compilation, with GCC, was ok and the first time Squid start
perfectly. Today the machine was stopped and Squid didn't start
any more.

The cache.log says...

...
97/01/04 19:13:27| Ready to serve requests.
FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.
97/01/04 19:13:30| storeWriteCleanLog: Not currently OK to rewrite swap log.
97/01/04 19:13:30| storeWriteCleanLog: Operation aborted.
...

Any help?.
