Stripe sizes for stripped Squid caches

I'm in the process of setting up a new squid cache using multiple (4) disks.
Has anyone any experience setting up interleaving for web caching?

I'm just wondering what sorts of interleave size work well. I can do
some experiments of my own, but I was wondering if anyone out there
had any experience to report. I'd guess that a relatively small
stripe interleave is probably appropriate (maybe 32-64K).
