Re: pop3

You can't configure a proxy for POP3. Only HTTP,FTP,Gopher and WAIS is
supported in Netscape (HTTP,FTP and Gopher is supported by Squid).

You have to be able to connect directly (or indirectly by a port
reflector) to your pop server.
