"accelerated proxy" and CGI

Hi,

I recently installed squid 1.0.20 and tried to use it as an
"accelerated" proxy. Port 80, Apache 1.1.1 on 81.
Everything works fine, but I noticed that when CGI scripts
are used (they are not cached), the remote variables like
HOST and ADDR are set to the values of the proxy/apache
host!

Is this a bug, or should I cache such CGI scripts?
These false values aren't very useful to restrict the WWW access :)

Frank.
