Or you could just drop the ACL stuff and put acl control in the redirector
(which is what I am looking at doing now to handle time of day access
control).

Similarly an analogous interface effectively between the fetch and the
store/return of the http/ftp data to allow data examination would allow
people to go wild on content control.

Then its a run time configuration process - one fairly small concentrated
squid and all the odds and ends in someone elses code outside of squid!
