Hi,
A had a problem connecting to secured servers a while ago. The problem did
not come from squid, but from the firewall. As you've noticed in the ACLs,
the ports used for https are different from the usual one (80) and have to
be opened on the firewall.
I'am not sure this helps as I did not fully understand your problem...
