        You need to do it before downloading, because if your main reason for
blocking these sites is to conserve bandwidth, then you just shot yourself
in the foot. If your reason for block is for some personal moralistic
point, the client will still get the image, the cache will purge it, thus
the images are still downloaded, and you just lost efficiency on your cache
as the image has been purged.
