A lot depends on the speed of the network. We need more information. I
could give you numbers but our network is somewhat complicated. To reach
the proxy server from my office I go through 10Mbit Ethernet -> 16Mbit
Token Ring -> Back to 10 Mbit ethernet. There are Netware servers acting
as routers too. I have no control over the token ring backbone so i have
no idea how much it influences the speed.
