Yuck. BusLogic's are much better. Or if you have the money, DPT's. Even
a cheap card like the ones ASUS sell usually performs better than an
Adaptec. Just because Adaptec have the market doesn't mean they're any
good.

I'd go with a BusLogic 958C (or more than one) for any server which really
had to perform, or a DPT controller if I had the extra $$$ around.
