What does access.log say at this point? Is it a cache hit or miss?
Also have you tried hitting Shift-Reload in the browser to make sure
the browser has flushed _its_ cache?

This was raised last week.. www.microsoft.com is looping
incessantly.
I'm using IE4, and tried PURGE'ing /default.asp and ie4/whatever and
it's
still looping. Realaudio.com was broken for about 6 hours the other
day,
then they obviously backed out whatever changes they had made.
