dnsserver fails *sometimes* on solaris 2.5.1

Hello,

Here is what's happening on our Solaris: dnsserver sometimes fails on DNS
requests, all other applications using name service, however, work fine.
I've noticed that dnsserver answers right when the address exists in the
local DNS cache.

This is not a nscd problem, nor nsswitch, I tried all possible
configurations!
