squid dying: n_files_in_map > max_n_files

Help,

our squid dies with the above error... I already reduced
store_avg_object_size to 10 (from the default 20) but after 10 mins
squid dies again.... what can i do? that thing HAS to run (or my boss
will say i have to install a NT proxy again :()
