X-Forwarded-For: illegal addresses?

Hi,

I did a little experiment with X-Forwarded-For header (3 servers, 2
months) and found out an interesting thing:

5-20 % of the headers set are from the reserved illegal space (10.*.*.*,
192.168.*.* and 172.....). I guess that people running Squids for such
LANs should be aware of this and probably turn setting the
HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR header off in the configuration file...

Jan S.
