Hello,

Our squid process has been exiting and then restarting quite a bit
lately.. after checking the logs I came up with this.. anyone know what
causes this?

Apr 21 04:13:07 proxy Apr 21 04:13:07squid[: xmalloc: Unable to allocate
4096 bytes!
Apr 21 04:14:05 proxy /kernel: pid 3537 (squid), uid 1002: exited on signal
6
Apr 21 04:14:15 proxy squid[3643]: Starting Squid Cache version 1.1.20 for
i386-unknown-fr$
Apr 21 04:14:16 proxy squid[3643]: Pinger socket opened on FD 19
Apr 21 04:14:17 proxy squid[3643]: NETDB state reloaded; 1812 entries, 401
msec
Apr 21 04:14:17 proxy squid[3643]: Ready to serve requests.

This is running on a pII 233 / 256M / 4gig spool / FreeBSD 2.2.6 ... seems
like it started when it came under a little more load.. had previous uptimes
of weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes,
-Jason
