Bad swapfile number

Curious. I have three machines running squid-1.NOVM.20, in two separate
locations. All three squids just simultaneously reported 'bad swapfile
number', segfaulted and shutdown.

I can't quite bring myself to believe that this was just coincidence.
Anyone else seen anything similar?
