We are trying to find ethernet switches capable of forwarding packets
based on tcp port (layer 4 switch?). In other words, we want to find a
switch that can allow us to do transparent proxy without using specialized
code in a UNIX server or policy-based routing on a router.
Is anyone out there doing this with an ethernet switch? What switches are
you using?
