Connection reset by peer problem

Hi,

while running a moderately busy cache I am experiencing a Problem with
squid 1.1.21 (the RedHat RPM build) on Linux 2.0.32 regarding the
frequent termination of requests with the Message "Connection reset by
peer" accompanied by the following cache log entry (debug 50,2 or so):

1998/07/10 09:57:31| httpReadReply: FD 19: read failure: (104)
Connection reset by peer.

From reading the archives of this list I found out that this is not a
unique problem, but could not find a solution for this one. Because the
problem is very annoying and decreasing the overall acceptance of the
cache I an pressed to find a solution for it.
I tried to find a situation where the problem occurs reproducibly but it
seems to be purely coincidential.

Any help is greately appreciated.
