storeSwapInFileOpened: Size mismatch

Hi,

1.2.beta25 - solaris 2.5.1

Got these messages in my cache log - I guess it means that the index
contents do not match the contents on disk.

1998/09/23 09:31:30| storeSwapInFileOpened: /var/cache/00/00/00000015:
Size mismatch: 776(fstat) != 3785(object)
1998/09/23 09:31:31| storeSwapInFileOpened: /var/cache/00/00/00000017:
Size mismatch: 2571(fstat) != 4159(object)

What does Squid do in this case ?

In 1.1 it would give back the cached object anyway (I think). I'd
prefer if the URL was retrieved again from scratch. About 1 year
ago I'd a completely corrupted cache - and the wrong images were
appearing in the middle of some HTML pages. This can be a bit scary
when you think about what some people look at in their spare time :-)
Had to zap the cache immediately in case offensive material appeared
in an ordinary page !

Cheers,
Niall
