The ipf-transparent support in squid is so that you can use IP-Filter to
do transparent proxy on non linux systems.

The idea is that you install IP-Filter on your machine and then compile
squid with ipf-transparent support. A description on how to set things up
is in the FAQ, Section 17.1.
