wrong authenticate_state

Hi,

I have been running Squid 1.1.22 with the proxy_auth patch . And
for the last few weeks I have been getting this error in my cache.log
. And this occurs often enough that RunCache stops trying to
restart squid.

Just wondering is this a bug and what if anyone knows what
causes it ?

FATAL: clientAccessCheck: wrong authenticate_state
Squid Cache (Version 1.1.22): Terminated abnormally.
