How many Filedescriptors are need in Squid 2.x

How do I determine how many filedescriptors I will need if i'm
going to install squid 2.x on my system - P-II 300 128 MB ram.
My cache_mem is set at 20 mb and my cache_swap is at 4000 mb.
Currently running 1.1.22 on this system and the default file-
descriptors of 100 is enough. Do I need to increase my filedes-
criptors if I going to ran squid 2.x, and how many?
