mimetype recognition is base on extension and is configured in mime.conf. The
use of filenames without extensions is a bit confusing and squid decides in
these cases for an octet-stream download. There is not something like magic
mime types as in Apache. This would also a bit counter productive because this
requires squid to read the first part of the file to decide.
