Currently it is hard to tell from a teoretical point of view it RAID0 or
separate cache_dirs is most optimal for Squid performance, and as things
evolve separate cache_dirs will be more and more preferable.

The benefits of separate cache dirs are that you can easily reconfigure
your cache with more or less disks when needed, without loosing all you
cache.

Squid load balances among the different cache_dir entries using
round-robin on the least filled 3/4 disks (those marked as selected in
cachemgr).
