Why does Squid never SWAPIN?

This is sort of follow-up question to my earlier "Why does squid not cache
these pages?" post.

I was digging through my logs some more and did a grep -c SWAPIN * To my
surprise there were no SWAPIN's logged over the past two days. In fact,
using client, I simulated a situation where I think it should have swapped
in. I pulled down some wbepage with client (www.linuxberg.com I think!)
and I noticed that the action logged in store.log was SWAPOUT. So I
immediately reissued the same client command to pull down that same page.
Oddly, the access.log registered a TCP_MISS and the store.log showed that
it retrieved the page again. Any idea what's going on here? Is this
normal? Thanks!
