Transparent caching and FreeBSD

According to the FAQ/Chapter 17 I am trying to install transparent caching
with:
- FreeBSD 2.2.8,
- Squid 2.1.PATCH2 and
- IP Filter3.2.10.
After installing the IP Filter package (using the loadable kernel module with
all described kernel hacks)without any problem - configuring squid with
--enable-ipf-transparent option produces the following error message: "Cannot
find necesary IP-Filter header files"
What is wrong and what program is responsible for providing this header files
? Is there anybody, who got transparent caching working with FreeBSD 2.2.8 ? I
would be great to share some experiences.

Thank you - Thomas.
