Are you saing that you want shadow password authentication for Squid?
Didn't know this vas ever possible (UNIX authentication was not even
included as a default module prior to Squid 2.2).

One thing you need to be aware of is that the format of the proxy_auth
ACL type has changed somewhat. See the description in squid.conf.default
for the updated syntax (changed in Squid 2.1, effective in Squid 2.2).
