SIGBUS on SPARC/Solaris usually means that your data is not aligned, e.g.
you cannot access long integers at odd addresses. I don't experience such
problems on my Solaris versions (2.5.1 and 7), using a 2.7.2.3 on some
2.5.1, and using a 2.8.1 on 2.5.1 and 7 (ok, some more version 2 software,
e.g. squid 2.2.4 ;-)
