squid cache directory

Hi,

I am running squid-2.2 on solaris 2.7 (Ultra 2). I would like to increase the
cache size. I am bit confued which Tag to change. If I am right I need to change
the TAG

cache_dir /opt/local/squid/cache 100 16 256

I have 4.5 GB free space on the same partition. What is the recommended
cache_dir size for 4.5 GB disk space? Do I need to change the following
parameters ........

cache_swap_low 90

cache_swap_high 95

cache_mem 32 MB

Do I just need to restart squid after increasing the cache size. Please reply
back as soon as possible.
