SSL/HTTPS and transparent proxy

Hello,

Can Squid be configured to run as a SSL (HTTPS) transparent
proxy? I've had no problems using it as a transparent HTTP
proxy (using my own redirector code) -- or in using it as a
non-transparent SSL and HTTP proxy. Is it simply not possible
due to SSL encryption? I couldn't find any specific info on
this in the mail archives, FAQ or Users Guide.

      I'm using Squid 2.2.STABLE4 on Solaris 2.6.

Thanks in advance for any info/pointers,
