How to ban old Browsers?

Hi,

we would like to ban old browsers like MSIE 3.02 from our
squid-proxies.

Unfortunately the following acl doesn't work:

acl old_iexplorer browser regexp MSIE?3

We even tried:

        MSIE\ 3
        MSIE..3
        MSIE.3

Any hints?

The useragent-logs shows "MSIE 3.02".
