Hello!
I am a new user to Squid and is currently running Squid-2.3DEVEL2 on my RedHat
Linux 6.1 system. I compiled the source file with CFLAGS="-O6 -mpentiumpro
-fno-strength" and all is working just fine except that once in a while, Squid
will die all of a sudden by itself.
No error messages are noted in the /var/log/squid/cache.log file and it only
indicated that Squid is doing a full restart. But in /var/log/squid/access.log,
the following line appears at the momemt of crash :-
(squid): rfc1035.c:427: rfc1035AnswersUnpack: Assertion `off <= sz' failed.
Has anyone encountered this problem before or have any idea how to solve this
problem?
