Problems with dns_nameservers

Hello,

I'm having the following problem:

The squid (Squid 2.2/Stable 3) is installed on a linux box running our
public dns server. The internal domain is the same as the external, but
there are servers in our local intranet, that do not have dns entry for the
public. So, I don't want squid to resolv names using the resolv.conf.
I've tried to use dns_nameservers tag but it seems not to work.

The dnsservers proccess are listed like this:

568 ? S 0:03 (dnsserver) -s xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx <- this is our
internal dns Ip address
569 ? S 0:00 (dnsserver) -s xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
570 ? S 0:00 (dnsserver) -s xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
571 ? S 0:00 (dnsserver) -s xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
...

Where is my mistake ???
Any helps ? tips ? tricks ?

Thanks,

Fábio Gomes Baptista.
