Greeting Page

Hi,
We are running squid for quite a while now but have come accross a problem
for
which I havenŽt found a solution in the available documentation (FAQ,
squid.conf.default, ...)

We Žd like to set up squid in such a way that it acts as transparent proxy
for user requests to
the internet.
I think I undestand the stuff about setting up filters and redirectors and
such so this should
just be a matter of trying it out.

WeŽd like to show our users a welcome page every time he logs in which gives
him some
useful information. This page should be shown no matter what page the user
has selected.
The selected page should then pop up in a separate window a little later.
(or our
greeting page disappears after a couple of seconds and then is replaced by
the original page)

Is there a way to do this with squid and if so how?

Any help welcome

kind regards

C. Martin
