do a

ulimit -HSn 4096

You'd also have to put this line in the RunCache script before you start,
otherwise the running squid will still see 1024 FD's.

Subject: I need help .. Again.. !

I follow the procedures on the Squid Page for increasing FILE Descriptors,
and is not working..

heres the procedures again i follow:

i did
echo 16384 > file-max
echo 16384 > inode-max
on /proc/sys/fs
and when i do
./configure

it still detects 1024.. :(..

im Using..

Redhat 6.1
Squid 2.3Stable1

Any recomendations.. ? where can i change FD_Size before i do "make"

Thanks!
