NCSA module - getting there

From: Simon Bryan <sbryan@dont-contact.us>

OK, got the configure to work.
I deleted the squid directories, and reinstalled from the gz file. Don't know
what I did wrong the first time but now configure works, but I go to the
auth_modules/NCSA directory and do a 'make' and get:

gcc -g -O2 -Wall -I. -I../../include -I../../include -c ncsa_auth.c -o
ncsa_auth.o
gcc -g ncsa_auth.o -o ncsa_auth -L../../lib -lmiscutil -lcrypt -lm -lresolv -lbsd -
lnsl
ld: cannot open -lmiscutil: No such file or directory
make: *** [ncsa_auth] Error 1

In the directory now I have:

Makefile Makefile.in ncsa_auth.c ncsa_auth.o

The lib directory is where it should be (two directories up) there is of course
no lmiscutil file as this looks to me like it is parameters. Now perhaps there
is some other thing I need to install before I can do this?

Thanks for all the help, I am learning from this... ;-)
