Squid exit status 1

Hello All,

when i start to run squid it get this problem. BUT when i run squid normally (without the RunCache) it fails, I have used the squid RunCache from a Debian box i used to run (now using slackware) and i have changed the directories and so forth but i am unsure how i should go aboud debugging this, or if anyone knows WHY it would be crashing.
enclosed is a copy of the scripts that i have been using. and the error log from /var/log/messages

If anyone has any idea, it would be greatly appreciated.
